Wave 1 Shipping & Wave 2 mass production photos

Mass production of wave two is in full swing and we’ve received some photos from the factory to show everyone. You can check them out at the bottom of this update. For the rest of it, I will give an update on exactly where things are with wave one shipping and answer some common queries. This is quite a long update as it attempts to both bring up to date where packing and shipping is for each region and answer common queries. It is broken down into regions so you can skip to the one in which you are rather than read all of it.

By far the most common shipping queries we’re getting at the moment relate to tracking and the tracking emails. If you have a query or concern on it then please read this update carefully first as it will answer the large majority of queries we have been getting. Note that all pledges (except for Brazilian pledges) are individually packed in China before being shipped out and the tracking information for them is generated at this time. What it means is that tracking information is available weeks and weeks before the courier in your country receives your pledge for delivery. 

If you are in the EU:

Tracking emails were sent out last week. We’re aware that not everyone received one and we’re chasing that up at the moment to get those emails caught up. The first boats have docked and been unloaded but nothing has yet been shipped out by PostNL. We can only assume that they are either going through customs or PostNL have a backlog and we’re waiting for an update on this ourselves. Two more boats should have just docked, and this will mean that almost all of the containers have now arrived. 

There is an issue with PostNL’s tracking website in that it displays addresses in a slightly different format with the house number placed in a different position. We’ve been assured that this is purely a website thing and the shipping labels do have the correct format on them.

What this means is –

· If you haven’t received the email, then we’re aware of it and are in the process of trying to get it resent. 

· If you have received it but it is showing no activity, it’s because no packages have yet been shipped out by PostNL. As to when this will begin, it is not something we have any control over and we’re chasing this up ourselves. 

· If you see your address in a different format when checking your tracking information on PostNL’s website, then this is not how it will be on the shipping label.

I mentioned a few weeks back that I was expecting to receive information on one or two more boats that were carrying pledges. I received one but have now received a second. This means there are six boats in total carrying EU pledges –

If you are in the US:

Packing of the US orders has now completed.  Tracking emails have been getting generated and sent out during the packing process so most of you should have received them by now. There are a small number which were sent out incorrectly and for which we’re attempting to have them resent. 

Most of the pledges are now on the ocean and are being transported in three boats, the first of which is due to dock next week. This means that no US pledges are yet with the courier (or even in the country) so if your tracking information is dormant then this is why, and it will likely remain this way for at least another week. Allowing time for unloading, clearing customs, and shipping by the courier it is likely to be at least a couple of weeks before US pledges begin to arrive at doorsteps.

If you are in Canada:

Packing of your pledges is about to begin (and by the time you read this may have begun). Much as with the US pledges, you should receive tracking emails as your pledges are being packed. This will mean there will be a number of weeks between receiving the email and receiving your pledge. If you receive an email and it tells you that your pledge is due to be delivered in a few days, then this is almost certainly not the case. The information in these weekly updates is accurate and will tell you whether the Canadian pledges have left China, and which boat they’re on if they have. 

Canadian pledges comprise less than 5% of the total pledges (the EU pledges were almost 60% by way of comparison) so the packing process should be much quicker than for EU and US. 

If you are in Australia:

Your pledges are next in the queue after Canada. Australian pledges are around 3% of the total amount of pledges so should again move very quickly. Given that there is still a little time in which we could amend an address before your pledges start packing then it would be worthwhile checking your pledge information on gameontabletop.comjust to make sure that your address is correct. Once your pledge is packed in China it is then too late to amend it.

Note that your account on gametabletop.com has an address attached to it, but this is separate from your pledge address so do specifically check your pledge to see what address is there. If it is not correct, then email us immediately with the correct address on support@mythicgames.net.

If you are in Brazil:

Hopefully you are already aware that your pledges are being handled by a local distributor so as to reduce shipping costs and avoid import taxes. It looks as if the good ship CMA CGM RODOLPHE which is carrying the product has just reached Rio de Janeiro. The pledges do still need to be packed once they’ve cleared customs, so you’ll need to allow a little time for that, as well as for unloading and customs.

If you are anywhere else:

Your pledges will be packed once the Australian pledges are done. As we are not importing the pledges ourselves then these are being sent direct by Hong Kong surface mail and will not need to wait for containers to be filled with pledges before being shipped. Given that there is still a little time in which we could amend an address before your pledges start packing then it would be worthwhile checking your pledge information on gameontabletop.com just to make sure that your address is correct. Once your pledge is packed in China it is then too late to amend it.
